I’m a Brazilian cinematographer who began working in the film industry at 16, in an event production company, where I developed early experience as both filmmaker and colorist.
At 17, before entering film school, I completed specialization courses with Alziro Barbosa (ABC) and Leandro Lamezi, studying lighting, narrative construction, exposure, optics, color temperature, composition, découpage, special lighting and color grading.
Shortly after, I joined the Film School at FAAP, where I shot several short films, including When I Shut My Eyes, which received international recognition at:
• Paris International Short Festival – Semi-Finalist
• Chicago Indie Film Awards – Winner
• Montreal Independent Film Festival – Winner
• Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival – Official Selection
Throughout my career I’ve worked on films, series, commercials, music videos and documentaries in positions such as camera assistant, camera operator and colorist. Today, I work primarily as a cinematographer and colorist, focusing on documentaries, short films, music videos, TV episodes and commercial projects.
I also direct projects I genuinely care about, especially those that give me creative freedom and explore subjects I feel personally connected to.
